The egg shape actually fits my mug better than the round ball infusers I used to have, and the steel doesn't hold onto yesterday's tea smell. Lifting it out by the little chain for a second steep is way less messy than fishing around with a spoon.

The little egg shape makes it easy to fish out with a spoon, and I've been re-steeping the same leaves three times without any mess. The stainless steel hasn't stained or held onto yesterday's chai flavor either.
