The charcoal and ivory pattern hides my dog's muddy paw prints way better than the flat-weave cotton rug it replaced. I was worried a no-pile rug would feel thin, but the cotton and wool blend has just enough cushion underfoot in the hallway. It's been three weeks and no shedding so far, which is more than I can say for my last one. The ivory and charcoal pattern hides crumbs well too.
