These are surprisingly sturdy for how delicate the leaf shape looks, and the 7-3/4 inch length keeps my fingers clear of hot serving dishes. I've used them for everything from salad to roasted vegetables and the grip stays comfortable the whole time.
The brass finish has this warm matte look that makes even plain salad feel a little fancy. At 7-3/4 inches they're the right length for tossing pasta without my knuckles hitting the pan. Grippy enough on slippery roasted peppers too.
These are shorter than my old serving tongs, which actually makes them easier to maneuver over a salad bowl. The brass has a nice weight to it too and they grip without scratching anything.
