The 14 oz size is perfect because she doesn't have to refill halfway through her morning tea. The stoneware feels sturdy and keeps her drink warm longer than her old thin mug did. She actually smiled when she opened it, which says a lot.

I bought this as a gift for my mom and the stoneware feels really sturdy, not flimsy like some mugs I've handled. She uses it every morning for tea and the 14-ounce size is perfect for her big refills. She's already told me it's her go-to mug.
