The throw is surprisingly strong for a soy candle—I lit it in the kitchen and could smell the bourbon and apple notes drifting into the living room within twenty minutes. The patterned jar looks great on the shelf even when it's not burning, and the 9 oz size has lasted longer than I expected.

The patterned glass jar is thick and sturdy, so it feels more expensive than the price suggests. Burned it for about three hours on a lazy Sunday and the whole kitchen smelled like warm maple syrup without being cloying.

The scent itself is lovely—sweet apple with that warm maple note really does feel like a Sunday morning. But the throw is weaker than I'd hoped for a 9 oz jar; I can barely smell it unless I'm sitting right next to it. Nice enough, just not the punch I expected.
