The rubberwood body has a nice weight to it and doesn't slide around while I'm grinding, which was my main annoyance with my old plastic set. The grind adjustment actually holds where you set it, so I can go coarse for steak and fine for finishing.
The black finish looks way more expensive than it cost, and it sits nicely next to my stove without looking out of place. Grinding is smooth and the pepper comes out consistent every time, no clumps.
