The 0.39 inch pile is thick enough to feel plush underfoot but still low enough that my doors glide right over it. I put it on the patio since it's outdoor safe, and it's held up fine through two rainstorms without fading or getting soggy.
I've spilled coffee and muddy dog paws on this thing twice now and it wipes clean with a damp cloth, no staining at all. The medium pile is thick enough to feel soft underfoot but still low enough that my door doesn't catch on it.
The colors in person are exactly the soft taupe and beige shown, and the 0.39” pile feels plush underfoot without being too thick for the hallway. Machine woven construction has held up well to daily foot traffic for the past two weeks, and it’s nice knowing it’s outdoor safe if I ever want to move
