The black and tan plaid is exactly the muted look I wanted draped over our gray couch, and it's held up through two washes already. My only note is that it's a bit lighter than I pictured, but for a cotton throw it's plenty warm for movie nights.
The cotton weave has that slightly nubby texture I was hoping for, and it's already softened up after one wash. It lives on the back of my couch now — the tan and black check happens to match my living room almost exactly.
The black and tan plaid looks even better draped over my sofa than I expected, and the cotton has a nice substantial weight without being heavy. Only thing is it's a bit scratchier than my old fleece throw, but it's already softening up after a wash.
