Bought this for my kitchen counter and the distressed white finish looks way more expensive than it cost. At 7 inches tall it holds my wooden spoons with room to spare, and the coarse texture gives it a nice handmade feel.
The volcano glaze has this bubbly, crusty texture that catches the light differently depending on where it sits in the room. I put it on my kitchen windowsill for dried lavender and the distressed white finish looks way older than it is, in a good way.
Mine arrived with a rougher, more pitted texture than the photo showed, which I actually love since no two are alike. At 7 inches tall it holds my wooden spoons without tipping, and the distressed white glaze picks up the light nicely on my counter.
