The veining on mine is completely different from the photos, which I actually love since it means no one else has the same one. It's heavier than I expected in a good way, and the hand-finished edges feel smooth, no sharp spots. Been using it for candles and soap by the tub and it wipes clean in sec
The 10x14 size works fine for cheese and crackers, but the tray is heavier than I expected and the bottom isn't polished, so I put felt pads on it to avoid scratching the table. The natural veining looks nice, though one corner has a rougher patch where the finish isn't as smooth.
