I was worried jute would feel scratchy underfoot, but this one's surprisingly smooth and lies completely flat with no pile to trip on. The hand woven texture looks way more expensive than I expected, and it hides crumbs from the kids pretty well.

Bought this for under my dining table and the tan color hides crumbs way better than I expected. The jute is a little scratchy on bare feet at first, but there's no pile so chairs slide in and out without catching. Two months in, it's still laying flat with no curling at the corners.

The hand-woven texture is what sold me, and in person it's even better, with little variations in the tan jute that make it look far more expensive than it was. It's flat with no pile, so my chairs slide easily and crumbs vacuum right up. Two months in, no shedding or fraying at all.
